Timothy K. Giordano Appointed to Executive Committee of the American Conference on Diversity

The American Conference on Diversity has appointed Timothy K. Giordano to serve on its Executive Committee. The Executive Committee makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees with respect to policy and operations, sets performance goals, and addresses the organization's critical needs. Tim has served as a Member of the Board since 2016.

The American Conference on Diversity is dedicated to building just and inclusive schools, workplaces, and communities through awareness, education, and advocacy.

The nonprofit organization was founded in 1948 as the National Conference of Christians and Jews, to fight against religious intolerance, the rise of the Ku Klux Klan, and inequality in neighborhoods throughout the country.

Today the programs, services, and initiatives of the American Conference on Diversity are among the most important work focused on creating a more inclusive society. It is the unfinished business of living in a highly diverse nation: educating and empowering our next generation of leaders, enhancing our workplaces, and helping to create inclusive communities.

Of his appointment to the Executive Committee, Tim said, "I'm proud to support this organization because it acknowledges and leverages the overwhelming goodness of people to help them find connection with one another despite sometimes radical differences. I can't think of more important work in our country right now."
